Leek Goods Shed

I am trying to trace the where-abouts of the NSR Goods Shed that was situated in Leek (Now site of Morrison's). Apparently, the shed, when demolished, was numbered & demolished brick by brick. This presumably means that it exist somewhere in some shape or form.
If anyone has any information concerning the goods shed, please leave a comment or e-mail me at thopoi05@hotmail.co.uk or see me when at the CVR.
[I will be down on the 15th December (Shop), the 24th December (Trainee Guard), & possibly the 31st December (Trainee Guard)]

Consall All Day

This sunday, Me & Howard were down at Consall. After several failed attemps to paint the old bench in the previous weeks (due to weather) we put in the shelter & painted it there!
On staurday, the S160's airpump failed, so the standard was put on for the last train. (More work for Greg, Methinks!)
Sorry no pictures this time!

(I will add some pictures this weekend (21st/22nd) so keep your eye out Linda!)

Consall in the rain

I was at Consall this saturday & I got rather wet. We were going to paint the white line on platform 2, but the rain stopped us. Also, we moved a bench into the shelter on platform 2 so it could dry ready for painting soon. Here are some pictures I took over the weekend...

Guarding Again...

This weekend I was trainee guard with Micheal, It was his first time as a passed out guard & he was glad he had me on with him as it didn't go to plan! On the way up to Froghall on the first train, we found a heard of stubborn cows that insisted on blocking the track for 10 minutes. then we got to Froghall & the vacuum brakes would not pull more than 15 inches (You need at least 18 to get the brakes off) so we left there 26 minutes late! but after some quick repair using the repair kit (A towel, some string & a roll of Sellotape) we managed finish on time
